There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey a There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey and number 35 is Izmir! 🇹🇷

I spent quite some time in Izmir - and I can say that it wasn't enough! It was really challenging to make a video about this province and to summarize all the great things that are going on here.

Izmir - a very fascinating province for several reasons. It is very different from any other Turkish city. People say it is more relaxed and livable. You can feel the wind and the sea air. Nobody seems to be in a rush and people are very warm hearted. Izmir, the city of peace and I had 2 weeks to explore this beautiful place. #izmir #bergama #tofaş
There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey a There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey and number 36 is Kars! 🇹🇷

Kars is one of the cities with the highest altitude in Turkey, that’s why the climate is very harsh as it is high and separated from the sea by mountain ranges. Temperatures reach as low as -39 °C from time to time in winter. So bring a warm jacket :)

Kars is a strong city in terms of history and geography. Kars, which is beautiful in summer and winter, is a corner of the country that is famous for its cold and the sincerity of the people.
Also a big thanks to Cheltikov Hotel staff who welcomed and hosted me so well with a smiling face.

The hospitality of the east is something so precious and valuable that I was deeply sad to leave this place so soon 💛🍋

Manisa!! Where do I begin? A province that is full of hidden gems. A place where I ate excellent food and I surely won't forget the narrow streets of Kula that scratched my car :)

Manisa is definetely one of the provinces that surprised me the most! I would have never expected a volcano or such great historical places! But they just blew my mind and I hope they will yours :)

🇹🇷There are 81 reasons to fall in love with 🇹🇷There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey and number 64 is Uşak

Uşak is a small city in the Aegean Region of Turkey. Known for its hand-woven Uşak carpets and its Tarhana soup. I must admit, I didn’t come to Uşak to explore the city center and try Tarhana Soup (even though it’s pretty good!!) But what’s really exciting about Uşak are the places outside the city! Have you been there?

🇹🇷 There are 81 reasons to fall in love with 🇹🇷 There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey and number 43 is Kütahya! On my journey to visit all 81 cities in Turkey I also made it to Kütahya, a province in Western Turkey that is known for its unique porcelain art and its history that dates back to over 3000 BC.

My first stop in #Kütahya was a place that was home to one the first settlers that used to live here: The #Phrygian Valley.

Another place that I visited was the Ulu Camii: It's the the biggest mosque in Kütahya and it took 29 years to complete it. It is quite an impressive building with large columns inside the mosque that were brought from the Ancient City of Aizanoi.

#Aizanoi was the main settlement of the Aizanitisians, who lived under the rule of the ancient Phrygians.

I also tasted #Mercimekli Mantisi which I figured out does not consist of soup :D

There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey a There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey and number 26 is Eskişehir 🇹🇷

Eskisehir - a city that can not be described by words but
Only felt by heart. It's a place that showed me a side of Turkey that I haven't seen before. With 3 big universities, there are a lot of students and young people around which makes this a very lively and colorful place with lots of entertainment.

Also turkish legends like Nuri Alço and Cuneyt Arkin are true Eskisehir'lis which is proof that it's a really cool city :)

While in #Eskişehir I noticed military planes flying above the city which really freaked me out, but nobody else seemed to be bothered by it. That's when I understood that it might be pretty normal in Eskisehir 😄

The name Eskişehir literally means "Old City" in Turkish and with that being said, there is a lot of history in the province. My journey takes me to a place 65km south and 2500 years back in history...

There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey a There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkey and number 11 is Bilecik!

#Bilecik is a place that is made fun of because "it doesn't exist", but actually, we just need to open our history books to understand that Bilecik was very important for the existence of the #ottoman empire and I believe that even today, 800 years later, Bilecik is much more than just a place that doesn't exist.

Osman I. started building the beginning of the Ottoman Empire around #Sögüt in Bilecik, which was a very important location from a military point of view as well because it was at the main road between #Constantinople and #Konya.

When in Bilecik you will come across many #kayi tribe flags, as Osman I. was also the leader of the Kayi tribe which was basically the foundation for the Ottoman Empire.

There is the #Harmankaya Kanyon - a 3km long beautiful but dangerous canyon (it was quite challenging for Limon to get there). All in all, I loved Bilecik and it was definitely a place that surprised me a lot with what I found there!
I am often asked if I feel lonely. My answer is al I am often asked if I feel lonely. My answer is always that it’s very kind to feel worried somehow, but depending on others would no longer allow me to achieve my goals.

Even though I travel alone, I am not lonely. My life so far has mostly consisted of traveling solo, I like to go to the movies by myself, go out for dinner by myself. One time I went to a James Blunt concert by myself and it was great! (but not living alone that’s depressing).

I've often dreamed of becoming a Videomaker and visiting all 81 cities in Turkey. And that’s what I would now like to experience: this journey.

Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, this has not been possible in recent years. I'm afraid that if it doesn't work out soon, it won't work out any more.

So I have to do it now, alone, otherwise the trip will only be a dream for me 💛🍋
